Request for a COVID-19 Work Accommodation

This spring, the College will continue to implement the teleworking policy for COVID-19-related issues because we care about our employees and want to ensure your well-being and safety, even if it makes it more challenging to ensure effective, efficient and student-centered operations. To ensure that our records are accurate and your plan for the spring semester is confirmed, we are asking all employees to renew their request for a “work from home” accommodation through 5/31/2021. It is important to note that granting approval to telework is not an employee right, but is both a privilege and responsibility, which is granted with the expectation that you will fulfill all responsibilities of your position, continue to meet the business needs of the College, and will serve students as well as other community members. Failure to meet that expectation will result in a reconsideration of approval, if granted.
